Chelsea Want Their Money Back For Mikel Obi

Photograph: from Guardian.co.uk, by Glyn Kirk/AFP/Getty Images

It is being reported that Chelsea Football Club has opened legal proceedings against Lyn and their former CEO Andersen over the £16 million transfer of Mikel Obi.  Apparently, at the time of the contract, June 2006, Obi didn't have an employment contract with Lyn.  According to Chelsea the transfer was based on "a fraudulent misrepresentation", and therefore the settlement previously agreed is not binding - so they want their money back.  Read more about this story.

Lyn and their former CEO Anderson must pay back what they fraudulently took from chelsea. It was a very bad mess.Every fraudulent act must be vehemently opposed.Lyn should not only pay back the money with interest but other penalties must follow.Mikel too must be compensated for all he went through during and after the period of the illegal transfer.Recall the issue of Reparation to Africa;the injustice done to Africa and Africans during the slave trade has not been forgotten despite the death of the front runner for the demands. It is only a matter of time, and in no long a period of time all injustice must be redressed.
Chelsea should keep the fight on both on the field of play and at the legal front because any day any where chelsea is a winner. Please go on and win this because it is a must win.
