Four Wealthy Nigerian Business Men to Buy Newscastle Utd

So this news has been around for a while now, that a Nigeria consortium is looking to buy struggling English premiership club Newcastle Utd. Boss of NVA Management, Chris Nathaniel who is orchestrating the deal, told kickoffnigeria.com that "Four prominent entrepreneurs are involved in this deal for now but they don't want their identities to be revealed for now. They have contributed £350million so far for the project."

Chris Nathaniel also added "But we are still beckoning to other well to do Nigerians to join this lofty and result oriented venture so that we can beat the deadline before another person or persons get the advantage over us (Nigeria) in this race to buy the club. We are targeting another £100million to £150million to make a strong offer of £450million to £500million to seal this deal once and for all."

    So who are these businessmen,

    could they be....

Femi Otedola - Billionaire owner of Zenon Oil (image from tribune.com.ng)

Mike Adenuga - Billionaire telecoms Mogul (Maybe we will see "glo" on the club jersey instead of Newscastle brown ale...wouldn't that be something)

Aliko Dangote - Richest Black African - according to Forbes (image from .afripol.org)

Obi Asika - Owner Storm Records,Music and Entertainment Mogul (sorry Obi couldn't find a flattering photo of you :)) ....?

    1. Checking through the previous and latest edition, I discovered emphasis are being made on EQUITORIAL GUINEA and the GAMBIA respectively. If I may ask, why are we not proud of our country NIGERIA. We hardly can exhaust any topic being raised on any matter whatsoever, be it political, economical or social. For crying out loud this is NAIJA TIMES not GAMBIA times. Kindly look into it, and hope to see a positive change.

    2. Can we have another NAIJA MAN in the next edition. The gospel truth is that people are tired of seeing the same old face.

    1. Without a doubt for close to 3 decades, Aliko Dangote has made Nigerians proud by creating employment for its citizen.

    2. There's nothing as good as creating wealth. This is a very good example for young entrepreneurs who is contemplating whether or not to take the risk. It worth dying for particularly if it has to do with your passion. Dream it! Pursue it!! Achieve it. Dangote today is a house hold name...

well its great to find people like dangote, adenuga and the rest other's, to be able to call them the rich guys, but i think i should say this; in the next future i will be called the richest but at that time, there will be no contest. i'd be the richest man with a vision and having a sense of responsibility.

Am so disgusted with these same old crooks who add NO REAL VALUES to this country they've so reaped off. They are MONOPOLIES created by successive governments to serve their selfish interests. Particularly Otedola.

Train any monkey to import Oils and give him the exclusivity these men enjoy, pretty soon, our bankers would start become friends to the monkey, i can assure you. there's no depth in their art except the hype the media gives give them.

If these men are so smart and daring, if they are so intelligent as they are touted, let them birth NEW businesses, grow same and employ Nigerians.

Our country is virgin, nothing have been done. So let them get to work, plough back what they have stolen from this country and not throw our assets abroad there by compounding the wahala of capital flight.

Power, transportation, even venture capital (for young men with ideas to birth their ideas under close scrutiny and management and supervision by these organisation) are some areas they can invest in. This is what they can give back to this country. It can be done!

    Let's stop glorifying these fools!
