    Jon Wins Naija Sings...

Jon emerges as the maiden winner of Naija Sings the Mnet talent show aimed at seeking out the very best singing talent.  As reported on the Mnet site, the bright-eyed and humble 18-year old took the title ahead of Tamara and Tarila during a show that featured fantastic duets and a cool performance from Wande Coal.

Jon and FamilyNow the competition was stiff, but in the end the texting voting public chose their winner, similar to what happened last weekend in the spectacular live grand finale of Maltina Dance All where the Ibiams family emerged as winners.

However, in the forums and social networking sites across the web you read comments from Nigerians that saw their favourite contestant(s) not win complain bitterly of the results.  Which makes this writer ask are Nigerian's sore losers or are we right to be sceptical about the results of talent shows?
